Thee Vicars
Thee Vicars are 4 teenagers from a small Suffolk market town called
Bury St Edmunds, forming a band with a view to playing as many gigs as
possible away from their boring hometown...
After replacing 2 original members brothers Jasper and Reuben with
Will and Chris the band have been constantly playing gigs with many
European trips under their belt and a lot of demand to book them which
has clashed with school work and jobs.
Influenced by the likes of Billy Childish, The Mummies and The
Downliner Sect they have caught the ears of The Horrors, King Khan and
more recently the Black Lips who hand picked them up to support them
on their tour of Scandinavia in June 2nd - 10th 2009.
Mojo magazine recently had "Why Have You Changed" at number 5 in their
monthly playlist and Vice magazine were very quick to pick up on the
snarlish Buzzcocks meets Hives garage punk racket coming out of Bury
St Edmunds.

The Cogs
 I Cogs suonano crudo e grezzo garage-punk, con un approccio semplice
e diretto. Energici e aggressivi come lo erano i Sonics negli anni
‘60, senza dimenticarsi della lezione del punk ‘77 e del rock’n'roll
lo-fi anni 90.
La loro nascita risale all’estate del 2007 e le prove rimarranno
l’unica attività del gruppo per circa un anno, come svago per i
componenti che suonano o hanno suonato anche in altre
formazioni R’n'R del Valdarno come Pin Pals/Pindrivers, Bavadoodo,
R’n'R Terrorists e White Pagoda.

Il debutto dal vivo avvenne per caso nell’aprile del 2008, quando i
Cogs si ritrovarono a suonare
tre brani prima di un concerto dei Ray Daytona & the Googoobombos e
White Pagoda. E’ con il maggio 2008 che è iniziata anche un’attività
live vera e propria, che ha portato i Cogs ad aprire a gruppi come:
